How does Opus Wealth get paid?
At Opus Wealth, we believe in transparent, fair, and conflict-free pricing. That’s why we operate on a fee-for-service model—meaning you pay for the advice and support you receive, not based on the size of your investments.
Our Pricing Philosophy
- No percentage-based fees – We don’t take a cut of your assets or investments.
Our fees are based on the complexity of the advice, ensuring you get value driven, tailored financial guidance. - Clear and upfront pricing – You’ll always know what you’re paying before we start any work—no surprises.
- Superannuation-funded advice – Where relevant, fees may be funded from your superannuation to ease cash flow.
- Insurance commissions – We may receive commissions from insurance products, but we’ll always disclose these upfront, and they won’t impact the quality of our advice.
What You’ll Pay
- Initial Advice Fees
Setting up a financial plan and onboarding as a client involves in-depth analysis and strategic recommendations. The cost depends on the complexity of your financial situation, and we’ll confirm the price before starting any work.
Plans start from $2,200, though most clients invest around $5,000 for a full financial strategy.
- Ongoing Advice Fees
Financial planning isn’t a one-time event—it’s an ongoing process. Our ongoing advice fees are tailored to:
- – The range and complexity of work involved.
- – The level of engagement you want.
This ensures you get the right level of support to keep your finances in harmony and aligned with your goals.
At Opus Wealth, we’re committed to fair, transparent pricing—so you can focus on building your financial future with confidence.
What if I don’t need ongoing advice?
At Opus Wealth, we strongly believe that ongoing financial advice is key to staying on track, adapting to life’s changes, and ensuring your financial plan continues to align with what matters most to you.
However, we understand that not everyone requires ongoing advice. In some cases, one-off advice may be suitable, such as:
- Estate Management – Helping you navigate the financial complexities of settling an estate.
- Aged Care Planning – Providing guidance on funding aged care for yourself or a loved one.
- Personal Insurance Advice – We can assist with setting up and reviewing your insurance needs without the need for a formal ongoing service.
Even if you choose not to engage in ongoing advice, we’re always here to help whenever you need support. Financial planning isn’t just about today—it’s about creating a strategy that evolves with you.
Are your advisers Certified Financial Planners (CFPs)?
Yes! At Opus Wealth, we are proud to have Certified Financial Planners (CFPs®) on our team. The CFP® designation is the highest global standard in financial planning, ensuring that our advice is:
- Expert & Qualified – Backed by rigorous education and professional experience.
- Ethical & Transparent – Committed to putting your best interests first.
- Strategic & Tailored – Designed to help you achieve financial security and longterm success.
By working with a CFP®, you can have confidence that you’re receiving high-quality advice from an adviser who is dedicated to helping you make smart, informed financial decisions.
I would like to explore financial advice, but am not completely sure if it’s right for me.
We get it—financial advice is a big decision, and you might not be sure if it’s the right fit. That’s why we offer a complimentary Discovery Meeting—no pressure, no obligation.
This is a chance for us to get to know each other, understand your financial situation, and explore whether advice would genuinely benefit you.
- No commitment – Just an open conversation about your goals and challenges.
- Honest guidance – If we don’t believe we can add significant value (beyond our fee), we’ll tell you.
- Clarity & confidence – You’ll walk away with a better understanding of your options, whether you move forward with us or not.

- Investment Structuring – Helping you decide how to structure property investments (personal name, trust, SMSF, etc.) to align with your goals and tax
situation. - Long-Term Strategy – Property is just one piece of your financial picture. We help you explore other complementary assets (such as shares, managed funds, or ETFs) to create a balanced, resilient investment portfolio.
